Product and tabletop photography for an online e-commerce website. Whispers from the Woods.
An up to date website is a must nowadays regardless of what industry you are in. Of course a website needs to be engaging and keep the viewer on the site. Images are a great way to show off your team and your services or your premises.
Let's face it, we all have a short attention span and therefore a picture can communicate more at one glance than a 1000 words that most people won't read.
Here are some of the images taken at Fox Valley Animal Hospital.

I had the pleasure of working with Lucy Perry, the CEO of Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia.
I was approached by Rimini Street to shoot a concept for an upcoming magazine cover. The magazine, insideSAP was going to feature my client on the cover and they had to come up with an idea fast.
The client had a rough concept in mind that would highlight Rimini Street as the new alternative for SAP support as opposed to the traditional (and more expensive) support provided by SAP.
The client was able to provide me with this image as a starting point for the concept.
From there we discussed several options that would have the impact required and get the message across.
Next we got the retoucher on board to discuss the details of the concept and what could be done in Photoshop and how to shoot the image to ensure that the scale and lighting etc all matched up perfectly in the final image.
Since this is a magazine cover we also had to be aware of the requirements by the publisher to be able to add text and graphics on the cover.
A couple of other images had to be sources from stock libraries i.e. a cityscape and a street sign. We managed to find a great image of Sydney at night.
Next we produced a mock-up for the magazine editor and the client to approve the overall design, layout and size of the final image. Once the mock-up was approved we photographed the talent or in this case my client Andrew Powell from Rimini Street in our studio.
The images where then retouched and composited with the street sign and the cityscape.
Once the image was delivered it was up to the publishers to work it into a magazine cover. Below is the final cover as it was printed.
The image was used again inside the magazine as part of an article.
and since the magazine is available as an iPad version you also need an image for iTunes.
Nick, principal of Newton Advisory came to the studio yesterday to update his headshot. The images will be used on the website, social media etc.
While Nick selected colour images I also included black & white copies of the images as I think they are striking, and paradoxically more modern looking
Another shoot for our regular client Jasmine Jayde. It was a hectic time with all the kids, parents, stylists and crew in the studio.
Paula from Chadwick Real Estate in Turramurra came in today to get her corporate head shot updated.
We went with a standard formal head shot as well as a more relaxed black & white head shot which will feature on the Chadwick Real Estate website along with all the other team photos we have done for Chadwick.

An example of uber photography's studio product photography for children's fashion including clothing, accessories and jewellery. Shot with studio lighting and a plain white background, the clothes and accessories are easily displayed without any visual distractions.
A while back we did this photoshoot for Pattison's Patisserie.
It was a hot day, too hot to photograph chocolate cakes at room temperature. We ended up shooting in a cool room. The only downside was that the chocolate started to sweat. In the end we just had to shoot as quickly as possible. Food photography is always a challenge and this shoot was no exception but we got some great images. We photographed cakes, cup cakes, tarts, tea cakes, pies, breads & biscuits.
